Show you care with RECare!

Each winter, there are members of Allamakee-Clayton Electric Cooperative who cannot afford to heat their homes. RECare is a program that enables ACEC members to help their fellow members. Donations to the RECare program make a real difference. Last year, ACEC members contributed $10,092, and 38 families received assistance with their electric bills. All RECare recipients of funding must be referred to the Cooperative by Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation, Shepherd of the Hills, or a similar social services office.

If you would like to help, Contact Us to request an authorization form and return it with your next bill payment. We'd be happy to answer any questions you have about RECare. Call (563) 864-7611 or toll free (888) 788-1551.

RECare is a 501c3 organization - your donations are tax deductible.

Each winter, the cold facts are that a number of needy members of our Cooperative cannot afford to heat their homes.  For this reason, Allamakee-Clayton REC has established RECare, a consumer contribution fund in which members like you assist other members who need help paying utility bills.

The money stays in our service area.  Every dollar contributed to this fund is used to help low-income members pay electric bills.

It's simple.  If you have previously made a monthly pledge to the program, there is nothing you need to do now. As your pledge continues, please know it is sincerely appreciated.

If you choose to begin contributing at this time, pledge your monthly donation to the program and that amount will be automatically added to your monthly electric bill. Or if you prefer, you can make a one-time or periodic contribution.
